The group

Ambiora began with a single house in Punjab.

What it learned there was not a formula to repeat but a standard to keep.

A standard travels where a formula cannot.

A hotel is not a brand template dropped onto a plot of land: what works in a business district fails in the foothills, and the room that suits a wedding party is the wrong room for a Tuesday morning meeting. So each house is drawn around the place it stands in, the people who come to it, and the reason they came.

What stays constant is the part no brochure describes — how quickly the phone is answered, how well the bed is made, whether the kitchen knows what is in season. Unglamorous work, and the whole of the business.

Ambiora Hotel & Resorts Pvt. Ltd. began with a single house in Punjab and now runs hotels, resorts and retreats that have very little in common except the standard they are held to.

The group grew outward from one region rather than downward from a brand manual. That order matters: it means each property was designed for the people who actually arrive at it, not adapted from a template built somewhere else.

The group is still small enough that this is checkable. Four houses are open and documented here in full; the rest of the portfolio joins the site property by property, as each one's details are confirmed.

Where they stand

One brand. Many destinations.

In the hills

Foothill retreats, where the reason to come is the quiet.

On the highway

Road properties built for the night between two places.

In the city

Addresses for the working week and the long evening.

The hospitality division runs hotels, restaurants, farmhouses and gyms across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Goa and Canada. Four of the hotels are documented on this site.

What Ambiora is for

Three statements the group is willing to be held to

01

Vision

To run a group of Indian hotels that are worth travelling for in their own right, rather than a chain that happens to have branches.

02

Mission

Build and operate properties that are specific to their region, staffed well enough that the specificity survives contact with a busy weekend.

03

Atithi Devo Bhava

The guest as an honoured visitor. Taken as an operating instruction rather than a slogan for the lobby wall: it is why service here is measured by what was noticed, not by what was scripted.

Hospitality is a staffing decision before it is a design one. Enough people on the floor that noticing is possible at all.

Shri Parveen Kumar, Chairman of Ambiora Group

Chairman

Shri Parveen Kumar

Shri Parveen Kumar has spent three decades in business, and the hotels are the newest part of a group that started elsewhere. Ambiora Group's interests run across real estate, construction, hospitality, healthcare and finance, and the way the hotels are run owes a good deal to that: build properly, staff properly, and stay in a place long enough to be known in it.

Also

Alongside the business he has served Sanatan temples for thirty years, and is Mukh Sevadar at the Mata Bagla Mukhi, Mata Naina Devi, Mata Mansa Devi and Kali Mata temples.

Leadership

The people who run the group

14 of them, named, with what each is answerable for. The descriptions are the group's own.

The wider group

Vision and mission of Ambiora Group

The hotels sit inside a wider group. These are the group's own words.

The group

Real estate, construction, hospitality, healthcare and finance.

Vision

To shape vibrant communities and deliver spaces where dreams turn into reality.

Mission

To build with integrity, innovate with purpose, and serve with commitment creating value for every stakeholder.

The foundation

The group's social work, run alongside the businesses rather than out of them.

Vision

To build a society where ethical business growth and compassionate social service collectively empower communities and preserve cultural heritage.

Mission

To leverage the resources and network of Ambiora Group to drive impactful social initiatives — in healthcare, community support and cultural preservation — while upholding the highest standards of integrity and service.

30 Years of trading — and the same length of service to the temples the family is associated with.

The difference

What stays the same across the group

The properties differ on purpose. These five things do not.

  1. The rooftop terrace under its timber pergola at blue hour
01 Sense of place A hotel should tell you where you are within a minute of walking in. Materials, food and staff come from the region, not from a group standard.
  2. Lobby lounge with curved blue velvet seating under a crystal ceiling
02 Thoughtful hospitality Service that notices rather than performs. Fewer scripted greetings, more of the small things handled before they are asked for.
  3. Reception hall with chandeliers and a marble front desk
03 Personal service Enough people on the floor that someone knows your name by the second morning, in a property small enough for that to be true.
  4. Glazed dining pavilion under a bamboo ceiling with cane chairs
04 Responsible luxury Comfort that does not quietly cost the place it sits in. Local sourcing, careful water and energy use, and honest reporting on both.
  5. Wedding stage dressed in florals with a gilded settee
05 Local culture Culture presented as it is practised, not staged for guests. Craftspeople, cooks and musicians are paid properly and credited by name.

The rest of the portfolio joins this site property by property, as each one's location, rooms and contact details are confirmed. Nothing about the group is written here from guesswork.
